Biobased Value Chains, Products, Processes and Markets

This module aims to provide students with a systematic understanding of value chains and the value chain approach to new process and product development as a driver of economic activity (value-add) within the bioecomony. Students will be presented with the theories and paradigms for the cascading of biological resources on an economy-wide scale, and the biobased value chains formed are eventually integrated in value networks.
