Knowledge, Innovation and Industry

The global animal and human food sector is an innovation enabled economy which has emerged due to the intersection and integrated deployment of key enabling technologies and organisational innovations to create new value chains, from feedstock to shelf. Within this module students will explore their entrepreneurial mindset, innovation theory, idea generation, technology commercialization, intrapreneurship, leadership development and organisational change. The business model canvas will be introduced as a framework for progressing opportunities from idea to market deployment.
