Policy and Social Aspects of the Bioeconomy

This module will provide students with a forum for engaged scholarship at the intersection of life sciences, social sciences, ethics, consumer, innovation and policy research as it applies to the sustainable development of the Circular Bioeconomy. Students will explore how technology, environment, climate, food security, population growth, energy, resource pressures, market forces (push & pull) and socio-economic issues shape drive innovation in governance, via strategy, regulatory and policy developments.
