Seizing Opportunities and Developing Skills in Sustainability at the Ludgate Hub EcoTech 2024 Conference

IKC3 were honoured to be invited as the keynote speaker at the EcoTech 2024 Conference held by the Ludgate Hub in Skibbereen. Our Industry Liaison, David Williamson, delivered a presentation ‘Seizing Opportunities and Developing Skills in Sustainability’ which focused on the opportunities available for innovators, businesses, and the skills required for a sustainable future.

 

 

EcoTech 2024 aimed to bring together pioneers, innovators, and thought leaders in technology and sustainability to explore how innovation can drive positive change for our planet and future generations.

 

 

Catriona Power, Education & Outreach Manager of Circular Bioeconomy Cluster South West at MTU was a guest panel speaker on the day discussing ‘Catalysts of Change: Unveiling the Crucial Role of Research in Sustainable Innovation.

 

 

We were delighted to host David Williamson from IKC3 to be our keynote speaker for or EcoTech Conference 2024,’ said Katy Wareing, Strategy and Innovation Manager at Ludgate, ‘and a big thank you to David’s MTU colleague, Catriona Power from Circular BioEconomy Cluster Southwest to be one of our guest panel members. 

 

‘The  EcoTech Conference was a bringing together of innovators and thought leaders in technology and sustainability to explore how innovation can drive positive change for our planet and future generations. David opened the day by providing both the context and the opportunities for innovators,  businesses, and the skills required for a sustainable future, and Catriona provided some excellent examples of the positive impact of applied research in mitigating climate change.’
