IKC3 were delighted to partner with Cobh and Harbour Chamber, Mallow Chamber and Port of Cork to bring the Sustainability Professionals Network to Cork as part of their Sustainability Pathways: Networking, Workshops, and Opportunities Event on 19th June at Fota Wildlife Park’s Education, Conservation and Research Centre.
The event was focused on sustainable business practices and designed to empower local businesses to adopt sustainability and lessen their environmental impact. It provided an opportunity for industry, enterprise, SMEs, community groups, social enterprises and people interested in developing their knowledge and skills in sustainability to meet and share their experiences.
Attendees gained insights from IKC3 and leading professionals developing their sustainability plans and activities. We were exicited to welcome a number of guest speakers to the event including John Gately, Managing Director, The Commodore Hotel, Ciarán McGann, Senior Business Advisor, AIB and Eoghan McCarthy, General Manager, Ballyhass Lake, Ballyhass Adventure Group.
Following the presentations, groups were given the opportunity to work together by sharing their own experiences, help with challenges and offer their advice.
